# Define symbolic parity by algebraic equivalence

The C++/SymEngine port must preserve MATLAB matrix shapes, branch/output ordering, and algebraic meaning, but it does not need identical expression text. Model generation uses exact integer, rational, and symbolic arithmetic until explicit numerical evaluation; tests check shape and ordering, simplify symbolic differences, and use exact or high-precision substitutions when simplification is inconclusive.

The C++ model exposes explicit ordered symbol vectors for duty cycles, capacitances, switch resistances, capacitor ESR, and switching frequency. It also provides a MATLAB-compatible substitution order for callers that currently depend on `symvar`, because relying on either engine's discovered-symbol order would make substitutions unstable.
