# Use tiered validation for the symbolic port

Completion of the one-to-one port requires corrected MATLAB-to-C++ algebraic parity and the thesis analytical examples. PLECS simulations and hardware measurements remain model-validation benchmarks: the port reports their deviation, but it does not require exact agreement with physical results because QFA is an analytical approximation.

Cross-language fixtures use versioned JSON with ordered symbols, matrices, exact rational values, high-precision values, units, assumptions, provenance, and per-field tolerances. Exact values compare exactly; substituted software results use strict numerical tolerances; PLECS and measurement comparisons retain the modeling error reported by the source.
